NEW BUSINESS - J <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: PATTI WALSTAD <br />DATE: DECEMBER 15, 2008 <br />SUBJECT: BUSINESS LICENSING <br />On February 19, 2008, the City Council passed Ordinance No. 84 pertaining to <br />the licensing of businesses in the City of Gem Lake. This is set to begin in 2009. <br />At this time I would like to verify that it is still your intent to start the licensing <br />beginning January 1, 2009. <br />I've attached for your review a letter which would be sent to all businesses <br />explaining the reason for the Ordinance. I've also drafted the. Business License <br />Application form (attached).
