Mayor and Members of the Council: This: letter supplements the Agreement for Professional Services between the City. of Gem Lake and Short Elliott. Hendrickson Inc (SEH") dated January 1, 2002. The original Agreement provides for the review and modification of the billing rates on an annual basis. Wehave reviewed the rate table in effect for 2006 and the staff currently assigned to the City of Gem Lake. With the variety andnumber of staff' providing services to Gem Lake, we feel that it is easier to provide a range of rates for the different positions. This will provide the City with more accurate billing and lower costs. The change in the mileagerate reflects the IRS rate, which SEH uses to reimburse employee mileage. SEH typically hasnot charged mileageunless there are, special staff needs from other offices. We will continue this for 2008-2009. A copy of the revised Exhibit C-1 is attached which includes therevised ratetable and schedule of expenses for 2008-2009. With yourapproval, this rate table would take effect beginning December 1, 2008. I. would liketo thank you again for the opportunity to continueour relationship with the City of Gem Lake.
