MEMORANDUM <br />TO: CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: PATTI WALSTAD <br />DATE: FEBRUARY 5, 2009 <br />SUBJECT: COUNTRY LOUNGE <br />It is once again time for the City Council to approve issuance of licenses to the <br />Country Lounge located at 3590 Hoffman Road. The Country Lounge holds the <br />following licenses:. <br />+ On -Sate &5 Sunday Liquor License <br />• Tobacco Safes <br />• charitable Gambling <br />All tees have all been paid and insurance information received. <br />Also, pursuant to State Law, in order for an establishment to be open until 2:00 <br />a.m., the local government must approve the application. Attached is the <br />Renewal Application for Optional Liquor 2 AM for the Country Lounge. <br />Requested Action: <br />Approve issuance of the fallowing licenses for the period of January 1, 2009 <br />through December 31, 2009, for the Country Lounge, 3590 Hoffman Road: <br />t On -Sale and Sunday Liquor License <br />t Tobacco Sales License <br />• Charitable Gambling License <br />t Renewal of Optional Liquor 2 AM. <br />and authorize execution by the Mayor and Clerk and further authorize staff to <br />forward to the Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division of the State of <br />Minnesota. <br />PSW/s <br />cc:add/admin.file <br />b_country=off <br />
