Control, Authority shall immediately seize the dangerous dog and hold it until resolution of the new criminal charges. The Animal Control. Authority shall follow the directives of the:. District Court regarding disposition of the dog. If the owner is not convicted of the charges, the owner shall be notified of theright toreclaim thedog within seven (7) days consistent with other reclamations:. 7.12 Destruction of Dog Under Certain Circumstances. Upon a Final Determination, following a hearing•_if one is requested, and not withstanding the other provisions of this Ordinance a dangerous dog that: (i) inflicted substantial bodily harm or great bodily harm on a human being onpublic or private property without provocation) fii} inflictedmultiple bites on a human on public or private property without provocation; (iii) bit multiplehuman victims on.public or private property in the same attack without provocations or (iv) bit a human on public or private property withoutprovocation in an attack wheremore than one dog participated in the attack may be destroyed in a proper and humane manner by the Animal Control Authority. SECTION 5. SEVERABILITY. Should any section, subdivision, clause or other provision of this Ordinance be held to beinvalid in any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or of any part hereof, other than the part held to be invalid.
