License Fees. <br />6.1. Each application for a license shall be accompanied by a receipt from the City <br />Treasurer for payment in full of the required fee for the license. All fees shall be <br />paid into the general fund of the municipality. Upon rejection of any application <br />for a .license, the treasurer shall refund the amount paid. <br />6.2. All licenses shall expire on the last day of December of each year. Each <br />license shall beissued for a period of one year except that if a portion of the <br />License. year has elapsed when the initial application:. is made, a license may be <br />issued for the remainder of the year. However, the fee shall be annual only and <br />shall not be pro -rated. <br />6.3. No refund of any fee shall be permitted except as authorized by the City <br />Council. <br />Section 5. SEVERABILITY. Should any section, subdivision, clause or other <br />provision of this Ordinance be held to be invalid in any court of competent jurisdiction, <br />such decision shall not affect the validity of the Ordinanceas a whole, or of any part. <br />hereof, other than the part held to be invalid. <br />Section 6. EFFECTIVE DATE.
