Minutes of Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />17 March 2009 <br />The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Gem Lake was called to <br />order by Mayor Uzpen on. Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 7:02 pm in the Gem Lake <br />City Hall meeting room. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Bob Uzpen, Council members <br />Gretchen Artig-Swomley, Chuck Watson and Jim Lindner. Other members of the <br />public were also in attendance per the sign in sheet sent around the room. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MEETING MINUTES <br />Minutes of City Council meeting of February 10, 2009: Upon motion by Artig- <br />Swamley and seconded by Watson, the council approved the minutes of the <br />February 10, 2009 Council meeting. <br />Ayes -- 4 Nays — 0 <br />City Council Agenda: Mayor Uzpen called for additions, deletions and <br />corrections to the agenda. Council member Artig-Swomley requested additions <br />to the Open. Item section as follows: a) discussion of historic Gem Lake photos <br />and b) the proposed sign code for Gem Lake. Upon motion by Lindner, <br />seconded by Artig-Swomley, the council approved the agenda for the. March 17, <br />2009 Council meeting. Ayes — 4 Nays -- 0 <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Planning Commission February. Meeting Report: Watson had questions <br />regarding point 2 from the February 2, 2009 minutes and the section discussing <br />the corner of Highway 61. Lindner will relook at document and make corrections <br />as needed. Mayor Uzpen deferred accepting February minutes until the April <br />Council meeting. <br />
