CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />4200 Otter Lake Road <br />Gem Lake, MN 55110-3227 <br />Telephone 651-747-2790 <br />E-mail City cr,ger lakeMN.arg <br />Gem Lake Planning Commission Meeting <br />9 September 2011 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Gem Lake was called to <br />order by Chairperson Faith Kuny on Tuesday, September 0, 2011 at 7:06 p.m. at <br />the Gem Lake City Hall conference room. <br />The following members were present: Chairperson Faith Kuny, and Planning <br />Commissioners Derrick Wippich, and Beth Herzog. <br />Planning Commission Agenda: Chairperson Kuny asked for any changes, <br />deletions or added agenda items. None was given and upon motion by <br />Commissioner Wippich and seconded by Commissioner Herzog; the September <br />6, 2011 agenda was approved. Ayes — 3, Nays — 0. <br />August Planning Commission Minutes: The August Planning Commission <br />minutes were tabled until the October Planning Commission meeting <br />OLD BUSINESS. <br />None <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Zoning Request Application — Hansen Investments, LLC: <br />Public Hearing opened at 7:08 p.m. <br />Tom Hansen -1231 Little Fox Lane spoke to the. Planning Commission <br />regarding the rezoning of Overlay Ordinance #122. He submitted the <br />documentation and $10,000 fee and will renew the request every year. He <br />explained what the [and is used for and passed out documentation to the <br />Planning Commission to view. The wetlands have been marked and dead trees <br />have been taken down. Mr. Hansen stated that no living trees were cut down at <br />this time. In the future Mr. Hansen plans on installing running water next year. <br />Mr. Hansen is requesting that the Planning Commission pass the ordinance and <br />forward it to the City Council for approval. <br />
