Agenda for this meeting (Accept Agenda) <br />PIanning Commission Minutes from August and September (Revise and/or Accept <br />Minutes) <br />Old Business <br />None <br />Public Hearing <br />None. <br />New Business. <br />Sally Ackerman (Vera Auto Sales) — Proposed restaurant on property <br />* Sally Ackerman clarified that the restaurant in question is part of SGS Holdings, LLC. <br />The Planning Commission verified with counsel that a restaurant is a permitted use in this <br />building, on this property, under the Gateway zoning. The old convenience store is closest <br />to the "single use building'; type in the code. <br />The restaurant may still need some conditional use approval or other review depending on <br />what what the proprietor wants to do (Figure 17 in the Gateway Zoning chapter). The <br />owners were aware of the accessory uses and did not plan to pursue any at this time. <br />Parking will be revisited after fire code/occupancy approval is obtained. <br />It was also discussed that State building codes, fire and safety codes, and health department <br />regulations are handled by other officials_. <br />No members of the. Planning Commission had objections to the restaurantforthe. <br />community, or felt it would have any detrimental effects for neighboring businesses. <br />Future Meetings <br />Next Planning Commission Meeting, November 1st, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. <br />Adjournment <br />The meeting adjourned at <br />
