To attain the <br />award, a girl must show leadership, give significant community service, explore <br />careers, gain skills and knowledge through specific interest projects, and <br />develop and complete a project that she personally feels is important, <br />She must demonstrate personal integrity, have an understanding of herself and <br />her ability to relate to othcra, set goals and plan methods of achieving them, <br />find ways to serve her community in both career and volunteer capacities, and <br />assume both the role of leader and that of a good team member. <br />Cold Award recipients must demonstrate a high level of maturity. The <br />accomplishment of the award calls for planning, thorough documentation. <br />personal effort and thoughtful evaluation, <br />Through her work toward earning the Gold Award, a girl must demonstrate <br />:n real understanding of the Gin I Scow Promise and Law by applying them to <br />her everyday living.
