MINUTES OF:A MEETING OP .THE JURISDICTIONS <br />WRI CH CONTRACT WITH RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF►S DEPARTMENT. <br />FOR POLICE SERVICES <br />SPECIAL BUDGET MEETING <br />May 5, 1994 <br />8:00 a.m. <br />' +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++- + -+++- 44+44++++++++f++++++++ <br />Joel Hanson, Chair, called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m. The <br />following members were present: <br />- Jerry Bergeron, Commander, Ramsey County Sheriff's Department <br />- Jim Daly, Lieutenant, Ramsey County Sheriff's Department <br />- Dick bornbusch, Lieutenant, Ramsey County Sheriff's Department <br />Bill Ecklund, City of North Oaks <br />-- Joel Hanson, City of Little Canada. <br />- Dorothy Person, City of Arden Hills <br />- Georgie Schulte, Ramsey County Risk Management <br />- Tarry Schwerin, City of Shoreview <br />• Bill Short, White Bear Township <br />- Ken Splittsoeser, Traffic Deputy, Ramsey County Sheriff's Dept. <br />- Gerry Urban, City of Vadna.is Heights <br />►PPRovAL of MINUTES <br />The Minutes of April 21, 1994 were approved as submitted. <br />WEIGHT RESTRICTION TRAINING <br />Commander Bergeron handed out a notice of the County's Weight <br />Restriction Training class, which is scheduled for Thursday, May <br />19, 1594 from 8;00 a.m. to noon, at the County's Civil Defense <br />classroom, located at the County garage. <br />RECOVERED PROPERTY . AUCTION <br />Commander Bergeron reported on the results of the April. 30, 1994 <br />Auction of Lost & Found and Recovered Property, which is held three <br />times per year. There was $1235.50 worth of merchandise sold. <br />pADGEs IN BUSINESS <br />Lt, Mike S1anaey reported on a new program sponsored by the MN <br />Liquor Control Commission to enforce laws against alcohol, consumption by minors. Ha stated that two deputies would be. <br />assigned to a liquor store (on -sale or off -sale) 1 plain clothes <br />deputy inside the store to check underage purchase or consumption, <br />and 1 plain clothes deputy to check on people "of age" purchasing <br />liquor. and then selling to minors, Funds are to by provided by <br />the MN Liquor Control Commission. <br />
