Resident, <br />Inan effort to make the City of Gem Lakesafer for residents, business residents and their employees, those who come <br />to Gem Lake to dobusiness, and our fire fighters, we will begin. annual inspectionof all Gem Lake businesses for compliance <br />with State. Fire Codes and generally accepted safe practices: This inspection will be completed in late May and early June <br />by the City of White Bear Lake Fire Marshall's office with whom we contract for fire protection. <br />The Fire Inspector will contact the owner or manager of each business in Gem Lake prior to arrival to schedule a <br />time for inspection. Upon arrival, we ask that youcooperate with the Inspector to insure minimum disruption of your:busiriess <br />activities. Upon completion of the. inspection; a reportwill be provided with permanent record copies to the City of Gem Lake <br />and the. White Bear Lake Fire Department. Onceyour business has beeninspected and found to be in compliance with State <br />Fire.
