CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />4200 Otter Lake Road <br />Gem Lake, Minnesota 55110 <br />RESOLUTION NO.2010-12 <br />17 AUGUST 2010 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY <br />PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2011 <br />WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has presented a (Proposed) Budget of $413,245.00 which includes a <br />(Proposed) General Tax Levy of $361,245.00 and a Debt. Tax Levy of $52,000.00 for fiscal and <br />calendar year 2011 based upon best estimates of costs for running the City of Gem Lake in 2011; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, these estimates were reviewed by the City Council on 17 August, 2010 and amended <br />based upon best information received from outside contractors and input from the City Council, and <br />revised by the City Council on 17 August, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did review the (Proposed) Budget and Tax Debt for 2011, including <br />all revisions thereto as of the date first written. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does <br />formally adopt the 2011 Preliminary General Fund Budget of $413,245.00 which includes a <br />Preliminary General Tax Levy of $361,245.00 and a Preliminary Debt Levy of $52,000.00 for 2011 <br />as prepared by the City Treasurer and amended by the City Council; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged with.
