REVENUES <br />GENERALFUND <br />ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: <br />To record and maintain all general operating revenues. These revenues will be used to finance the <br />general operating expenditures of the City. <br />GOALS: <br />1. Maintain stable, constant revenue sources. <br />2. Maintain a low tax rate, by reviewing the costs of services provided and charge appropriately for <br />them. <br />BUDGET SUMMARY: <br />The property tax system is described in more detail beginning on page 58. The City's net taxable tax <br />capacity has increased to $1,761,612 for taxes payable in 2024. This is an increase of 9.963%. The <br />City's General Fund property tax levy for 2024 will be $595,946.
