City of Gem Lake, MN Resolution No. 2023-0029 December 19, 2023 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL GENERAL FUND BUDGET AND FINAL AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2024 WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has presented a TOTAL (Proposed) Budget of $664,512.00 which includes a General Tax Levy of $615,527.00 and a Debt Tax Levy of $81,554.19 for fiscal and calendar year 2024 based upon best estimates of costs for running the City of Gem Lake in 2024; and WHEREAS, the City Council did review, on December 19, 2023, the TOTAL Budget and Tax Levy for 2024 including all revisions thereto as of the date first written. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does formally adopt the 2024 Final General Fund Budget of $664,512.00 and the Final Property Tax Levy as follows: General Property Tax Levy $595,946.00 Debt Levy 81,554.19 Fiscal Disparities 19,581.00 Total Property Tax Levy $697,081.19 and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged with Certifying said Tax and Debt Levy to Ramsey County Property Taxation and other government bodies for whom this information is required.
