City of Gem Lake, MN <br />Resolution No. 2022-0031 <br />December 20, 2022 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL GENERAL FUND BUDGET AND FINAL <br />AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2023 <br />WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has presented a TOTAL (Proposed) Budget of $674,829.00 <br />which includes a General Tax Levy of $584,697.00 and a Debt Tax Levy of $84,418.00 for fiscal <br />and calendar year 2023 based upon best estimates of costs for running the City of Gem Lake in <br />2023; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did review, on December 20, 2022, the TOTAL Budget and Tax <br />Levy for 2023 including all revisions thereto as of the date first written. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does <br />formally adopt the 2023 Final General Fund Budget of $674,829.00 and the Final Property Tax <br />Levy as follows: <br />General Property Tax Levy $568,897.00 <br />Debt Levy 82,324.00 <br />Fiscal Disparities 17,894.00 <br />Total Property Tax Levy $669,115.00 and; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged with Certifying said Tax and <br />Debt Levy to Ramsey County Property Taxation and other government bodies for whom this <br />information is required. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilmember Lindner and was supported by <br />Councilmember Johnson and was declared adopted based upon the following vote: <br />NAME <br />I ARTIG-SWOMLEY <br />CACIOPPO <br />LINDNER <br />JOHNSON <br />AMLEE <br />Vote <br />I Yes <br />Yes <br />I Yes <br />I Yes <br />I Yes <br />Attest <br />I, Melissa Lawrence, the duly qualified Acting City Clerk for the City of Gem Lake, County <br />of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a true and <br />accurate representation of action taken by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake on the date <br />first written. <br />llfe A9Q..,C.Rw2P.nW December 20, 2022 <br />Melissa Lawrence, Acting City Clerk Date <br />
