Lake,,Minnesota 55110 <br />RESOL'UTION.NO.2011-05 <br />16 AUGUST.Z011 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY <br />.PRO.PERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2012 <br />WHEREAS, the. City Treasurer has presented .a (Propaseil) Budget -cif $43 1. . 887.00 which includes a <br />(Proposed) General Tax Levy of $274,672.00*and a Debt Tax Levy of.$S 1;300.00 for fiscal .and <br />calendar year Z012 based upon best estimates of costs. for running the City of Gem .L-ake in.20-12;' <br />and <br />WHEREAS, these estimates -were reviewed by the City Council on 1.6 August,'2011 and. -amended <br />based upon best infoiriiiation received from outside contractors and -input from the City Council, and <br />revised by the. City Council nn 16 August, -2011; and <br />WHEREAS, the .City Council did. review {lie (Proposed). Budget and Tax Debt for 2012, including <br />all revisions thereto as of the date first written, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Couctcil of the City of Gerry Lake does <br />formally adopt the 20.12 "Preliminary General Fund Budget of $431.,887.00 which. includesa <br />Preliminary .General Tax Levy of $2.74;672. 00'and a Prelin nary Debt Levy of $51 t300.00 for 2012 <br />as. prepared by tbe: City Treasurer and amended-by'the -Cityy- Council; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged. with, Certifying. said 'fax and Debt <br />Levy to Ramsey County Property Taxation and other government bodies for whom this inf6rmation. <br />is required. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilor Lindner and was supported by <br />Councilor Artig-Swomley and was- declared adopted based. upon the fol lowing voter <br />NAME !
