City of Gem Lake City Council meeting minutes July 16, 2019 Page 2 <br /> <br />Letter to S.E.H. Phase II of the Sidewalk <br />Discussed the sidewalk on County Road E, ADA requirements, tabled until the August meeting. S.E.H. <br />was instructed to stop sidewalk design work until further notice. <br /> <br />Claims <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Cacioppo to approve the <br />claims for July, 2019. Motion passes, claims approved. <br /> <br />Open Items for the Councilmembers to bring up <br />Pond in Gem Lake Villas, when will the water fill in? Takes about three to five years for ponds to typically <br />fill in, sidewalk on County Road E, council decided to have a neighborhood meeting to discuss the <br />project, Off Line Back up for City files, have Roseville IT (Gem Lake’s IT contractor) come to the August <br />meeting to cover city IT security. <br /> <br />Presentations from the Public <br />Residents/Developer expressed concerns over proposed sidewalk on County Road E. Council decided <br />that a neighborhood meeting to discuss specifically the proposed sidewalk will be set up. Date to be <br />decided. Parking for using the trail in the Villas, where is it? On street parking available, no specific <br />parking lot for trail usage. <br /> <br />Next Meetings/Workshop <br />August 12, 2019, workshop cancelled. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Being there no further business, following a motion from Councilmember Lindner, seconded by <br />Councilmember Cacioppo, the meeting adjourned at 8:36 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, Gloria Tessier.
