City of Gem Lake City Council meeting minutes October 15, 2019 Page 2 <br /> <br />Archery Deer Hunt Permit Request – xx Daniels Farm Road <br />Permit has been applied for an archery deer hunt on October 26, 27, 28, November 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11, <br />2019. Questions about number of acreage, how many hunters per day, response: 3 hunters. A motion <br />was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve the <br />Archery Deer Hunt Permit Request for October 26, 27, 28, November 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11, 2019. A voice <br />vote was taken, all members voted yes, motion passes, Archery Deer Hunt Permit Request approved. <br /> <br />Resolution 2019-09 – Certify Delinquent Septic Fees <br />A motion was made Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve <br />Resolution 2019-09 Certify Delinquent Septic Fees, voice vote taken, all voted yes. Motion passes, <br />resolution approved. <br /> <br />Resolution 2019-010 – Certify Delinquent Sewer Bills <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve <br />Resolution 2019-010 Certify Delinquent Sewer Bills, voice vote taken, all voted yes. Motion passes, <br />resolution approved. <br /> <br />Claims <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to approve <br />the claims for October, 2019. Motion passes, claims approved. <br /> <br />Presentations from the Public <br />Dan Marier, question changes from the original draft of ordinance #132, dollar amount, change from <br />permit from three years to one year? Mayor Uzpen response – a lot of things can happen in three years <br />with one’s status. <br /> <br />Open Items from the Council Members to Bring Up <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley stated her backyard is still underwater, she spoke to VLAWMO about <br />getting a permit for a dirt berm which requires a special dirt, the company that supplies the dirt is out of <br />the special dirt, demand for the dirt is very high for this record rain fall year. <br /> <br />Next Meetings/Workshop <br />November 12, workshop cancelled. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Being there no further business, following a motion from Councilmember Lindner, seconded by <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley, the meeting adjourned at 8:46 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, Gloria Tessier. <br />
