City of Gem Lake City Council meeting minutes April 17, 2018 Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />Resolution 2018-10 – Change the July, 2018, City Council meeting to July 10th <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to change <br />the July, 2018, City Council meeting from July 17, 2018, to July 10th, 2018. Motion passes, Resolution <br />approved. <br /> <br />Resolution 2018-11 Approval of the Water and Sewer Service Agreement with Vadnais Heights <br />A brief discussion in regard to right-of-ways took place. A motion was made by Councilmember Artig- <br />Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve Resolution 2018-11 Approval of the Water <br />and Sewer Service Agreement with Vadnais Heights. Motion passes, Resolution approved. <br /> <br />Resolution 2018-07 Approval of the Landmark Development Project <br />A brief discussion took place regarding the landscaping plan and other agency approvals. A motion was <br />made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Cacioppo to approve Resolution 2018- <br />07, with the following statement. The City Council hereby approves the Developers Agreement in <br />substantially the form submitted, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute the Developers Agreement on behalf of the city. The approval hereby given to the Developers <br />Agreement includes approval of such additional details therein as may be necessary and appropriate <br />and such modifications thereof, deletions therefrom and additions thereto as may be necessary and <br />appropriate and approved by the City officials authorized by this resolution to execute the Developers <br />Agreement. The execution of the Developers Agreement by the appropriate officer or officers of the <br />city shall be conclusive evidence on the approval of the Developers Agreement in accordance with the <br />terms hereof. A voice vote was taken, 5- yes votes, 0 no votes. Motion passes, Resolution approved <br />with changes. <br /> <br />Comp Plan Update <br />In process, arrange public hearing with Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Open Items for the Councilmembers to Bring Up <br />County Road E mil and overlay, early May. Transit station in Gem Lake, County Road E – council agreed <br />too busy of intersection, move station further north. Inquiry from HyVee, Co. Road E and Hoffman <br />Road, conceptual plan meeting to take place April 26, 2018. <br /> <br />Claims <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Linder, seconded by Councilmember Cacioppo to approve the <br />claims. Motion passes.
