City of Gem Lake City Council Meeting minutes, May 17, 2016 Page 2 <br /> <br />Amendment to agreement between Ramsey County and the City of Gem Lake for Election Services <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Bosak to approve the <br />Amendment to agreement between Ramsey County and the City of Gem Lake for Election Services, <br />motion passed. <br /> <br />Claims for May, 2016 <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to approve <br />the claims for May, 2016. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Monthly Financial Reports <br />Accepted. <br /> <br />Open Items for the Councilmembers to Bring up <br />None <br /> <br />Presentations from the Public <br />Discussion took place in regard to sanitary sewer on Otter Lake Road. Engineer Gese and <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley reminded citizens that the city needs to follow the 429 process if <br />assessments of properties are going to take place. A petition was discussed, however more information <br />was needed for some of the residents to agree to sign the petition. Conclusion of the discussion: Ms. <br />Kirchhamer, author of petition, would continue to solicit neighbors to sign the petition, Engineer Gese <br />would look at redefining the area for the petition and the discussion will continue at the June 21, 2016, <br />City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Next Meetings <br />The City Workshop and Planning Commission meeting will be combined to take place Monday, June 13, <br />2016, agenda – results of the ordinance review committee meetings. <br />Next City Council meeting, Tuesday, June 21, 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Being there no further business, following a motion by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley adjourned the meeting at 8:23 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, Gloria Tessier <br />
