City of Gem Lake City Council Meeting minutes, December 20, 2016 Page 2 <br /> <br />Fee Schedule <br />Council reviewed the current fee schedule. Agreed to change the fee schedule for the conditional use <br />permit, rezoning permit and PUD to mirror what White Bear Township charges. Agreed to have <br />Attorney Kelly draft a letter similar to the Township’s attachment for permits. <br /> <br />Goose Lake Road Property <br />Council discussed the possible purchase of 1633 Goose Lake for a possible park. Mayor Uzpen would <br />contact the current owner to inquire about purchasing. <br /> <br />Hansen Property <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Bosak, seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to table <br />discussion about the Hansen property till the March City Council meeting. Motion passed. Discussion <br />took place about the status of the ordinances review and comprehensive plan. Another motion was <br />made by Councilmember Bosak and seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to reconsider the table <br />date and move the discussion take place at the February City Council meeting, voice vote was taken, <br />Councilmembers Artig-Swomley and Bosak, yes votes, Councilmember Lindner, Kuny and Mayor Uzpen <br />voted no. Motion stayed, discussion tabled till March, 2017, City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Claims for December, 2016 <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to approve <br />the claims for December, 2016. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Monthly Financial Reports <br />Approved. <br /> <br />Presentations from the Public <br />Nate Fair, Landmark Development/Hanson Builders inquired about the status of the moratorium and <br />presented two options for development on the Hansen property. The ordinance review committee <br />anticipated that they might get the ordinances completed by the end of December, which due to work <br />commitments, time constraints and schedules, did not occur, noted that the moratorium is in place till <br />June, 2017. <br /> <br />Open Items for Councilmembers to bring up <br />A food shelf bin is now located at City Hall. <br /> <br />Next Meetings <br />City of Gem Lake Workshop, Monday, January 9, 7:00 p.m. Next City Council meeting, Tuesday, January <br />17th, 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Being there no further business, following a motion by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by <br />Councilmember Bosak, the meeting adjourned at 9:13 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, Gloria Tessier
