<br />City of Gem Lake City Council meeting minutes, April 21, 2015 Page 2 <br /> <br />Councilmember Kuny to table Resolution 2015—02 until more information is received from City <br />Attorney Kelly and clarification of the mechanics of the fire escrow process. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Water Crossing Feasibility – Resolution 2015-03 <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to amend <br />the feasibility study dated March 17, 2015, to include the businesses north of County Road E on <br />Scheuneman Road and on County Road E West of Scheuneman Road to Highway 61. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Discussion with S.E.H. on Public Meeting on Water Project <br /> <br />Justin Gese from S.E.H. updated the Council on the Water Project Extension Project. The next issue of <br />the city newsletter will update residents on the project noting the May 14, 2015, Neighborhood <br />Meeting. <br /> <br />Resolution 2015-04 – For the Presale of Gem Lake Bonds/Presale Report <br /> <br />Todd Haugen from Ehlers updated the Council on the processes. A motion was made by Councilmember <br />Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to proceed. Motion passed. Mr. Haugen will be at <br />the May 19th, 2015, City Council meeting to update the Council. <br /> <br />Resolution 2015-05- Intent to Reimburse Water Project Expenditures <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Bosak, motion <br />passed 5-0. <br /> <br />Claims for April, 2015 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Bosak, claims were approved for April, <br />2015. <br /> <br />Presentations by the Public/Updates <br /> <br />Councilmember Kuny reported that she had received a phone call from Fritz Magnuson about the North <br />Suburban Cable Commission agreement and what the status is of our franchise agreement. Mayor <br />Uzpen will contact City Attorney Kelly for an update. <br /> <br />The May 11th, 2015, City Council Workshop has been cancelled. There will be a special meeting of the <br />Gem Lake City Council on May 12th, 2015, to deal with the request of Mr. Ramos to open an auto detail <br />shop. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business upon motion by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember <br />Artig-Swomley, Mayor Uzpen adjourned the meeting at 8:23 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, Gloria Tessier.
