TE9M OF AGREEMENTITERMINATION <br />This agreement shall commence - Japuary L 2001 and shall be in effect <br />through Deee nher 31, 2003. <br />2. Either party may terminate this Agreement *by. notifying the COU`NtY and <br />other MUNICIPALITIES in writing oftheir intentto terminate the agreement <br />9 .calendar months prior to the end of the calendar year. <br />3. Notice to the COUNTY shall be given to the County -Manager and Ramsey <br />Cotinty Sheriff, and NotiEe*to the MUNICIPALITY shall .�e. giver. to the <br />M'UNICIPALITY'S City Manager. <br />W, PAYMENT <br />The MUNICIPALITY agrees to pay the COUNTY the actual cost. of <br />providing all services cowered by this -Agreement. Actual cost:shall mean. -the <br />MUNICIPALITY rata share of the COUNTY'S total costof providing <br />patrol and police protection services to. the MUNICIPALITIES with which <br />the COUNTY has agreements for the currerit contractyear, including, but not <br />limited to the-foilt)wing: salaries of'ehiployees engaged in performing said <br />services, including vacation. and sick Ieave mileage, uniforms; public <br />employees rethement contributions; workers' compensation, automobile, <br />general liability and police.prMfesaional liability insurance costs or the -cost <br />of self-insurance; general overhead, includirig'indirect expenses and supplies, <br />radio. unit expense, and health and welfare expense. Costs as used herein <br />shall nat include items of expense attributable to services or facilities <br />normally provided or available. to all cities within the COUNTY 0s pant ofthe <br />COUNIrY'S obligation to enforce state law. Computation of actual costs <br />hereunder shall be •made by the Ramsey County Budgeting. & Accounting <br />Division based on- informaiion* provided :by -[he Sheriff. <br />2: The COUNTY shall azulually.submit a Budget Estimate using the District <br />Plait format for -the following year of services to the MUNICIPALITY no <br />later than August 1 of the current year. Such Budget Estimate shall, upon <br />issuance, be incorporated into:and-made apart ofthis agreement by reference; <br />Said Budget Estimate wilt be for the -limited purpose of better enabling the <br />MUNICIPALITY to estimate its annual budget and tax levy. It is understood <br />by the parties to this Agreement that said Budget Estimate shall in no way <br />prevent the COUNTY from charging its actual costs. The MUNICIPALITY <br />
