CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-03 <br />16 January 20�1 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem -Lake requires that.the office of City Clerk and the: office of:City Treasurer remain independent <br />of each either; .and <br />WHEREAS, Richard Nordstrom Us resigned his office of -City Treasurer effective 01 Jan64ry2001,.and <br />WHEREAS. the.continuing operations pf tite City require that certain work normally performed by the City*Treasurer must <br />eomirtue while a qualified replacement for,the office..is ideni`iiied and confirmed, and <br />WHEREAS, Mrs. Sarah Cobian has expressed a willingness to perform the. duties- DMity Treasurer on an interim basis. <br />NOW TH EREmR. E QE.1T RESOLVED that the City Council. of the. City of Gem Lake does hereby approve the temporary <br />-appoiritttierir.ofMrs: Sarah Cobian as interim City Treasurerto insure,thatcontintiedand uninterrupted operarion of City of <br />Gem Lake is provided for, and <br />FURTHER: RESOLVED,.that. Mrs. Cobian shall preparefoir delivery -to the Council a written job description of the duties of <br />Treasurer with in ninety (90).days so that a: posting for the positionmay be made:tosecure, a number of applicants front whom <br />the (..0tinciI may select. a.
