Road "C".and La$ore Road lies both in the City of Vadnais. 1-ieights and Geju .Lake; and WHEREAS, the current Ramst �y County design proposal incorporates features which have. 1�eei� included to. accommodate l�grenti�tl tirti�re cievctoptiieu( west o.f LaBoie Road in Vadnais Heights and which. may Have eopardized a significant number of trees identified :es:" barrier trees" along Gem Lake's western border;. and WHEREAS, the City Council of the .City of Gem Lake acknowledges both their obligation to: the community as defined. in. Ordinance No. 66, tiie.:greater coiiimttnity iti general to supportefforts that improve public. safety. and inter City cooperation, and WHfRCAS, this matter was previously considered in Resolution No.:200i=19.on 18 June 2001 .and several resultant.desians Itrepared for Ramsey County by SEIL Inc. have been reviewed by the Council.. NOW TH ERE FORE flE IT RESULVCD, that consistent with the intent of Resolution No. 2001-19. the City Council of the: Ot} of Gcm Lake by means orthis resohttion approves the design identified as Concept !#G with the additional understanding that all public utilities.currently installed along the eastern side LaBore Road in Gem Lake.through to pole #5 be placed underground,.the costofsaid placement to be.considered as a part of roadway.reconstruction project and,*therefore. atno Bost to the City of Gem Lake: and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, .that the City of Gem Lake will commit, cooperative funding of up to eleven thousand ($11000.Qo) dollars for development o€ tt pedestrian way along the south side-ofCounty Road "E" in Vadnais Heights.
