Occurring in Saint Paul in November 1992. A tanker truck
carrying hazardous chemicals overturned on University Avenue, causing a significant spill of
industrial solvents. This led to an evacuation of nearby businesses and residents, traffic
disruption, and road closures for several hours. The spill was contained and cleaned but did
pose a risk to public health and the environment.

• H.B. Fuller Plant Fire (2002). Occurring in June 2002 at the H.B. Fuller Company plant in Vadnais
Heights. A fire broke out at the H.B. Fuller adhesive manufacturing plant, causing the release of
hazardous fumes and chemicals. This led to the evacuation of employees and nearby residents
