Updated January 2025 – Gem Lake Consolidated Land Use Ordinance No. 131 151 <br /> <br />Vegetation blocking visibility on corners or along the edge of roads or street and unreasonably impeding the view <br />of motor vehicles traveling along public roadways is expressly forbidden and vegetation that grows to cause this <br />problem must be trimmed or removed. <br /> <br />14. Penalty. Any person violating or refusing to comply with the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. <br />Upon conviction thereof, may be punished in accordance with the statutory penalties assigned to misdemeanor offenses, as <br />those may be changed from time to time. The costs of prosecution may also be added. <br /> <br />15. Severability. It is the intention of the City Council that several provisions of this Section are severable. If any Court of <br />competent jurisdiction shall adjudge any provisions of this Section or application thereof to be invalid, such judgment shall <br />not affect any other provisions of this Section not specifically included in such judgment. <br />
