<br />While many changes were made to primarily update outdated language or formatting, below is a table of the more
<br />significant changes.

<br />The private swimming pool accessory use now includes “non-commercial”

<br />The setbacks regarding barns and stables have been moved to the
<br />yard requirements section for clarity. They have also been updated to read
<br />“setback at least 50 feet from any property line and at least 100 feet from
<br />any neighboring principal structure”, rather than 100 feet from any property
<br />line, with exceptions.

<br />Accessory structures are required to meet the setbacks of the zoning
<br />district at this time. Proposed is a 10-foot rear yard setback. Currently
<br />sheds are permitted in the setback.
<br />Section 5, 6, 7 16, 19, 23 Accessory structures are not permitted in front yards. Proposed, only in
<br />the RE, RX, and RO districts are 4 conditions that must be met to allow a
<br />front yard structure:
<br />1. The City Council approves the building location.
<br />2. The structure meets all setbacks.
<br />3. The structure is located no closer to the road right-of-way than
<br />one-half (1/2) the distance between the principal structure, as
<br />measured from the point of the structure closest to the road to the
<br />closest location of the road right-of-way.
<br />4. The structure is screened in accordance with City policies, where
<br />appropriate.
<br />Section 6 17 The conditional use, “Country clubs, golf courses and other private
<br />commercial recreation areas and facilities, including swimming pools;
<br />provided that any principal building or swimming pool shall be located not
<br />less than fifty (50’) feet from any other lot in an “R” District” is now only
<br />permitted in the RX zone and removed from the RE zone.
