Gem Lake – SSTS Ordinance Updates <br />Gem Lake City Council Meeting 11/19/24 <br />November 13, 2024 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE APPLICATION FORM <br />For SSTS replacement, sale of property, new construction, a bedroom addition, and/or a holding tank addition, a <br />Septic System Certificate of Compliance (CoC) is required. A CoC is granted administratively to the owner of the <br />system. They must submit property owner identification, the date of inspection, a management plan, a vertical <br />separation distance report, and a certified statement indicating the SSTS is in compliance with the City’s <br />Ordinance requirements. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REVIEW <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the materials at their November meeting, and recommended approval of the <br />proposed amendments to Ordinance Number 67D to the City Council. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Council should review the draft ordinance. If the Council desires additional amendments, direction regarding <br />ordinance changes should be provided to staff. <br />Attachments: <br />1.
