The process for correctly evaluating a building <br />for code compliance relies on a systematic approach to the <br />determination of occupancy classification and construction <br />type. Everything starts with the correct building classification! <br />A clear understanding of the classification process provides <br />the groundwork for the proper application of many other <br />important code provisions.
