CITY *OF 1QEM LANE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESQTA <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT <br />SOUTH SCHEUNEMAN ROAD <br />2009 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuantlo proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met <br />and heard.and passed upoa all objectionsio the proposed assessment for -improvement of <br />Schueneman Road by road reconsttuetion. and drainage enhancements; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF OEM'LAkE, <br />MINNESOTA; THAT;. <br />L Such. proposed assessment; a copy of which is attached hereto and made a pail <br />thereof, is hereby accepted and shall conOftute the special assessment against the lands <br />namod therein, and each tract of land therein is hereby found to bebenefited .by the <br />proposed improvement in the amount -of the.-assessmentlevied against it. <br />21 Such assessment shall be payable in- equal annual �installmeniS .extending over a <br />period of five years, the first of the installments. to be due and payable do *dr before the <br />first.Monday .in. JaL ivary, 201*0,.and will bear interest at the rate' of two percent (N) per <br />atinuth from the date of adoption of the 'assessment resolution. To the first installment <br />shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date.of the as resolution <br />t until December 31, 2009. To each subsequent installment -when due shall be added <br />interest for. one year on all unpaid installments. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of <br />the assessment to the. county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property,. <br />with interest. accrued to the date of payment, to the City Clerk. No intereMC-shall be <br />caged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this <br />assessment. At airy time thereafter, any such owner may pay to the county auditor the <br />61tire-amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to-December:31 <br />Of the year in which. soh payment is made. Such payment must be made before <br />Nbveplber 15 :or interest will be charged through December 31. Of the suceeeding year. <br />The right to :partially pre -pay this assessment according to Gera Lake Ordinance #98 is <br />ayallable to the owner of any assessed property,. <br />4. The clerk shrill forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to -the <br />'county auditor to be extended on the property tax lists. of the county.
