Maximum maintained lighting level at any point within the boundaries of the lot, measured 36 inches <br />above grade, shall not exceed one-hundred twenty (120) foot candles. <br /> <br />2. Maximum maintained vertical illumination, measured thirty (30') feet out from the property line with the <br />meter directed toward the lot, shall be five (5) foot candles. <br /> <br />3. The maximum point brightness, measured with a brightness meter from a point thirty (30') feet out from <br />the property line, shall be no greater than six-hundred (600) foot Lamberts. <br /> <br />5. Lighting for outdoor storage areas. Lighting for outdoor storage areas shall comply with the following <br />limitations: <br /> <br />1. Maximum maintained lighting level at any point within the area, measured thirty -six (36") inches above <br />grade, shall not exceed fifteen (15) foot-candles. <br /> <br />2. Maximum maintained vertical illumination, measured five (5') feet out from the property line with the <br />meter directed toward the area in question, shall be two (2) foot -candles. <br /> <br />3. Maximum point brightness, measured with a brightness meter from a point five (5') feet out from the <br />property line, shall be no greater than three-hundred (300) foot Lamberts. <br /> <br />6. Lighting for off street parking. Lighting for off street parking lots shall comply with the following limitations: <br /> <br />1. Maximum maintained lighting level at any point within the boundaries of the parking area, measured <br />thirty six (36") inches above grade, shall not exceed two (2) foot -candles. <br /> <br />2. Limitations on the hours of lighting operation may be imposed by the City Council. <br /> <br />9. Vibrations. <br /> <br />1. Any use creating periodic earth-shaking vibrations, such as may be created from a drop forge, shall be prohibited if <br />such vibrations are perceptible beyond the lot line of the site on which the use is located. This standard shall not <br />apply to vibrations created during the process of construction. <br /> <br />10. Off-Street Loading. <br /> <br />1. In connection with any structure which is to be erected or substantially altered, and which requires the receipt or <br />distribution of materials or merchandise by trucks or similar vehicles, there shall be provided off -street loading <br />space on the basis of adequate space for loading and unloading all vehicles used incidental to the operation of the <br />use. <br /> <br />1. No loading berth of vehicles over two-tons capacity shall be closer than one-hundred (100') feet to any <br />residence district unless completely enclosed by building walls not less than eight (8') feet in height. <br /> <br />2. Where noise from loading or unloading activity is audile in a residential district, the activity shall <br />terminate between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. <br /> <br />11. Traffic Control. <br /> <br />1. The traffic generated by any use shall be channeled and controlled in a manner that will avoid: <br /> <br />1. Congestion on the public streets; and, <br /> <br />2. Traffic hazards; and <br /> <br />3. Additional truck traffic through residential areas. <br /> <br />2. Internal traffic shall be so regulated as to insure its safe and orderly flow. <br /> <br />3. Traffic into and out of business and industrial areas shall avoid residential areas and in all cases be forward-moving <br />with no backing into streets.
