CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MN <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 —08 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO DISTRIBUTE A <br />PORTION OF THE GAMBLING FUNDS TO WILLOW LANE ELEMENTRY SCHOOL. <br />WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake participates in the distribution of gambling funds from <br />the Country Lounge, <br />WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake distributes these funds to local schools and charities, <br />WHEREAS, the City Treasurer is authorized to send to Willow Lane Elementary School <br />the amount of $3000.00 for the City's contribution for the year 2018, with instructions to <br />use the money toward new playground equipment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above resolution was adopted at the <br />April 17, 2018 regular City Council Meeting for the City of Gem Lake, Ramsey County <br />Minnesota, made by Councilmember Lindner and seconded by Councilmember Artig- <br />Swomley. <br />ATTEST <br />I, Tori Leonhardt, the duly qualified City Clerk of the City of Gem Lake, County of <br />Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution is a true and <br />accurate representation of action taken by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake on <br />the date first written. <br />k <br />Tori Leonh rdt, City Clerk Da e <br />
