City of Gem Lake <br />RESOLUTION NO. -2020-008 <br />June 16, 2020 <br />A resolution appointing as Mayor of Gem Lake until December 31, <br />2020. <br />WHEREAS, Robert J. Uzpen; Jr., Mayor.of City of Gem Lake, Minnesota, passed <br />away on May 13, 2020, and <br />WHEREAS; the.Cityof Gem Lake is required by Starts Statute to appoint a Mayor <br />for the remainder of Mayor Uzpen's position which will expire on December S1,:Z020, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the remaining councilmembers agreed. at•their.June 16, 2020, City <br />Council meeting that should .complete Mayor Uzpen's term.. <br />Now, therefore. be it resolved, that the City Council of Gem Lake hereby agrees <br />that. be appointed: Mayor until .December 31, 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilor <br />—and -was supported by Cpunciic r and Was: declared adopted Uased upon the <br />following. vote: <br />Artig-Swop ley Cacioppo Lindner Kuny <br />Attest <br />T, Gloria[ Tessier, the duly qualified Acting City Clerk for -the -City of: Gem.
