NO.2020-Ml$ <br />September.'15, 2420 <br />A resolution to approve the Gem Lake 2040 Comprehensive Plan and authorize <br />submission to the Metropolitan Council; <br />WHEREAS, under. state law, the.City:of Gem Lake -(the "City") is. required to <br />preparea comprehensive plan every tenyears and -the Metropolitan Council is enabled <br />to act as the reviewing authority for the CiV& cofnpre.hensive plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's comprehensive -plan guides land use which. is the basis for <br />zoning regulations in the City;. and <br />WHEREAS, the City .sent the Cor - fehensive Plan to adjacent -and affected <br />jurisdictions for review on January 18, 2019; -and <br />WHEREAS;. the City received and reviewed comments associated with this <br />review and incorporated the comments into the pleni,.phd <br />WHEREAS, the. City held.a duly noticed public hearing an Se.pternber 15, <br />and <br />Now; therefore be it. resolved, that -the City.
