City of Gem Lake <br />County of Ramsey <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2024-0017 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY <br />PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2025 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has presented a (Proposed) General Fund Budget of <br />$705,908.00 which includes a (Proposed) General Tax Levy of $650,021.00 and a Debt Tax <br />Levy of $83,736.00 for fiscal and calendar year 2025 based upon best estimates of costs for <br />running the City of Gem Lake in 2025; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does <br />formally adopt the 2025 Preliminary Tax Levy as follows <br /> <br />General Property Tax Levy $650,021.00 <br />Debt Levy 83,736.00 <br /> Total Levy $733,757.00 ; and <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged with Certifying said Tax and <br />Debt Levy to Ramsey County Property Taxation and other government bodies for whom this <br />information is required. <br /> <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilmember Lindner and was supported by <br />Councilmember Cacioppo and was declared adopted based upon the following vote: <br /> <br />NAME ARTIG-SWOMLEY CACIOPPO LINDNER JOHNSON HYNES-AMLEE <br />Vote Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes <br /> <br /> <br />Attest <br /> <br />I, Melissa Lawrence, the duly qualified City Clerk for the City of Gem Lake, County of Ramsey, State of <br />Minnesota, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a true and accurate representation of action <br />taken by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake on the date first written. <br /> <br />Melissa Lawrence <br />17 September 2024 <br />MELISSA LAWRENCE, Acting City Clerk Date <br />
