City of.Gem Lake, .MN <br />Resolution No. 2023-006 <br />March 21, 2023 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GEM .LAKE TO ENTER INTO A. JOINT <br />RECYCLING EVENT.AGREEMCNT WITH WHITE BEAR TO <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake: and White Sear Township. have entered into. an agreement for a joint <br />annual. recycling event beginning for .fiscal year. 2023; <br />WHEREAS, the city of Gem Lake and White Bear Township agree. to revisit the agreement annually; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake:: and White Bear Township agree: that White Bear Township. will <br />charge $500 to cover the cost: of the. city's initial participation; <br />WHEREAS, in the event that over 50 Gem Lake households .participate in the event, the city wifl be <br />charged an additional $5.00 per household; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake will provide an official I ist. of :households to. the: Public Works <br />Department of White Bear Township prior to the event annually. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; that the City Council of Gem Lake approves the joint. <br />recycling event agreement with White Bear Township beginning:fiscal year 2023. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing.
