ORDINANCE NO.. <br />CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 15 OF THE CONSOLIDATED LAND USE ORDINANCE, <br />REGARDING THE INSTITUTIONAL OVERLAY ZONE <br />The Geri Lake City Council hereby ordains:: <br />Section 1. The Consolidated Land Use Ordinance of Gem Lake (Ordinance No. 13:1), Section <br />15.2.2, shall be amended to read the following:. <br />15.2.2. Private Child. Care and Education. facilities as defined in the definitions section of this <br />Ordinance, but with activities Iirnited to school/educational activities: <br />A) An -enrol Iment with. an age not to exceed .twelve (12) years: <br />B) A total enrollment of not. less than twenty-five.(25) nor more than one hundred eighty <br />two (1822)-, <br />C) A maximum of one -hundred eighty two (182) "full -day equivalent" students with a <br />full -days` defined as ten (10) hours. <br />D) Thee "full -day equivalent" .shall becalculated. by adding together the .total. number of <br />students present during each hour of the "fall -day" of school. This total shall not exceed <br />1,820, which is:.182 students times 10 ]lours. <br />section 2: The Consolidated Land Use Ordinance of Gem. Lake (Ordinance No. 131.), Section <br />1.5.6, shall be amended to read the following: <br />Section 15.6 Lot Coverage and Height Requirements. <br />The following Iot coverage and height requirements shall be observed in the Institutional Overlay <br />district. <br />15.6.1.. The total lot. coverage of all. buildings. and other structures shall not exceed thirty <br />(30%) percent. <br />15.6.2 The. minimum open space. requirement for any proposed use shall be twenty (H%) <br />percent, including green areas not covered by buildings, parking 1ots, access roads., storage <br />areas or other areas covered by impervious surfaces. <br />I5:6..3 No building structure shall exceed thirty-five (35') feet in height. <br />Ordinance No. Page.] of 2 <br />
