Subject:. Heritage Hall Irrigation. System: In 2.022 the City of Gem Lake approached White Beam Township about the installation of an irrigation system at Heritage Hall,:the shared meeting hall for the City and Township. The City Clerk requested quotes front two different companies, Albrecht Company and Minnesota Irrigation. Quotes. were received and shared with White Bear Township. as this new system would be a shared expense and water would be supplied by the Township.. At the time of the request the Township was having a situation with water consumption and was considering an irrigation ban. The Town Board decided at that.tirne to deny the support and purchase of a new irrigation system and offered to revisit the request in. 2023.. The City Clerk: reached out to Pat Christopherson to revisit the request in June..2023 to which he Said. lie would br'ing.up with the Executive Committee:. At this time the Board is: more amenable. to accepting. an irrigation proposal. The City CIerk. has reached out to both c.ocnpanies from 2022 and requested an updated quote. At this tittle one updated quote has been received. In summary, the Gem Lake City. Council is requesting. the support of the. White Bear Township: Town Board to install an irrigation system at the. shared meeting hall. Tile City Clerk wi11 continue to pursue an updated quote from the other company to have available for July for approval at the Town Board and City Council meetings;
