City of Gem. Lake, MN Resolution. No. 2023-0013 July 18, 2023 AN ORDER TO ABATE A PUBLIC NUISANCE. WHEREAS, the. following individuals are the registered property owners of the following.dcscribed properties: Patricic Igo 1621 Goose Lake Road. Getn Lake, MN 55110 WHEREAS, the property is -zoned residential; and WHEREAS, the property has had a portable storage/disposal container and/or semi -trailer type container on the property for more than.30 days in: a 12-month.period and without. an.lnterim 'LUse Permit; WHEREAS; the City notified the property owner by letters dated :May 9,. June 8,. and July 10 that the condition of the property represents, a.pub]ic. nuisance. per City Code. Said Notice was: mailed regulation mail and certified.mail; and WHEREAS;.the public nuisance conditions consist of the iniproper;storage of a portable storage/disposal container and/or scmi4railer type container, and: WHEREAS, the property owner has riot remedied thepublic nuisance conditions existing on the: property; and. WHEREAS, the Gem Lake.City Council reviewed the matter at its public meeting on July 18, 2023. All persons presentat. said meeting were:given. an opportunity to be heard and present written statements. The Councilalso considered therecommendation of tltc.City Staff that this order be: issued; and. WHEREAS, this order was initiated pursuant to the City oC Gem Lake, City Ordinance No. 86, 5cc. 10.
