CHARITABLE GAMBLING FUNDS TO THE:WHITE BEAR <br />.LAKE AREA FOOD SHELF. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem. Lake. parti cipates. in the distribution. of charitable.garribling.funds <br />received. from the Country Lounge <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gen Lake distributes these funds to local 501(c)(3) tax-exempt. <br />organizations <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake City Council suggested. a donation at their September 1.9, <br />2023 meeting in support of the White Bear Lake Area Food Shelf. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Gem Lake, .Minnesota, the City <br />Treasurer -is authorized to send $:]..,500.04 to support the White Sear Lake Area Food Shelf for <br />the Month of October 2023. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly introduced by Councllnlernber <br />and supported by Councilmerriber ,..and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the resolution passed with a vote of in favor and against.. <br />ATTEST <br />I, Melissa Lawrence; the duly qualified Acting City.
