14-9. TOWN AUTHORITY TO MODIFY OR REMOVE DECLARATION OF <br />PUBLIC HEALTH NUISANCE. <br />14-9.1. The Town Building Official is authorized to modify the <br />Declaration conditions or remove the Declaration of Public Health <br />Nuisance.. <br />14-9.2. Such modifications or removal of the Declaration shall only <br />occur after .documentation from a qualified environmental or cleaning firm.. <br />stating that. the health and safety risks, including. those to neighbors and <br />potential dwelling occupants, are sufficiently abated or corrected to allow <br />safe occupancy of the dwelling. <br />SECTION 15. OUTDOOR WOOD STORAGE — PURPOSE AND INTENT. The <br />purpose .of this Section is to protect public. health, safety and welfare by ensuring the <br />proper outdoor storage of wood on residential properties in the Town of White Bear. <br />54. DEFINITIONS. <br />115-1.1. CORD OF FIREWOOD means unit of cut fuel wood, equal to 128 <br />cubic feet in a stack: <br />15-1.2. FIREWOOD means wood or wood products used or intended for <br />heating fuel in. a residential structure, or for a recreational fire. Painted or treated <br />wood shall not be considered firewood. <br />1571.3. NEAT SECURE STACK means a stack of firewood that is piled in <br />a. regular, orderly arrangement that is stable and reasonably resistant to. collapse, <br />15-2. REGULATiONs. <br />15-2.1. Except for firewood and construction materials necessary for on -site <br />work, no wood or wood products shall.be. kept or stored outside of a residential <br />premises. <br />15-2.2. Firewood may be stored. upon a residential premises solely for use on <br />the premises and not for resale. <br />15-2.3. All firewood located outside of a residential premises shall be stored as <br />follows: <br />15-2,3(a). The firewood shall be cut/split to a uniform shape, thirty <br />inches in length or less, stored in neat secure stacks and prepared for <br />use. <br />15-2.3(b). Firewood shall not be in a deteriorating state. <br />2I <br />
