City of Gem Lake, MN <br />Resolution No. 2022-0010 <br />April 19, 2022 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING AND AUHTORIZING THE CITY OF GEM LAKE TO ENTER <br />INTO A SERVICES RATE AGREEMENT WITH WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake and White Bear Township entered into an agreement for <br />administrative services in 2007; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake and White Bear Township have established and entered into an <br />agreement for public works services in 2022; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake and White Bear Township agreed to revisit their rate structure from <br />time to time; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake and White Bear Township agreed that White Bear Township will <br />charge $95.00 for all administrative services (Accounting Clerk/Receptionist, Building Inspector, Clerk <br />Treasurer, Finance Analyst and Officer, Para Legal Secretary, Planner, Secretary Receptionist) for fiscal <br />year 2022. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake and White Bear Township agreed that White Bear Township will <br />charge $80.00 per hour for all public works services (snow removal, street sweeping, street patching <br />(asphalt), street tree trimming, street sealcoating, asphalt trail, sanitary sewer line jetting, hydrant <br />flushing, mowing, rain garden) for fiscal year 2022. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Gem Lake approves the continuation of <br />administrative services from White Bear Township for $95.00 and beginning of public works services <br />from White Bear Township for $80.00 per hour for fiscal year 2022. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly introduced by Councilmember Lindner and <br />seconded by Councilmember Cacioppo, and upon vote being taken thereon, the Resolution passed with a <br />vote of 5 in favor and 0 against. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Melissa Lawrence April 19, 2022 <br />Melissa Lawrence, Acting City Clerk Date <br />
