Also present: City Planner Evan Monson, Acting City Clerk Melissa L.arvrence, and Councilmember Jim Lindner. Min tites Aotion was made. by Commission Member Wippich' seconded by Corimission Member' .mFarrell to approve the April 12, 2022, Planning Commission meeting minutes. Voice vote taken, all in. favor, motion passes, minutes ate approved. New Business Final Review .of 2040 Comprehensive flan City Planner Evan Monson discussed the. 2040 Comprehensive Plan, witli the Commission and made mention of. Section I4 of the. plan. He feels that these are going to be important in the followingyears when the City begins to implement the. plan.. Commission. Chair Don Cummings .sent an email on .points.he had regarding the plan and he. wanted to stress that everyone should be -.on the same page and he ready for any:proposals.or attempts that may come to. . "deconstruct" the City's. goals, A good example Commission.Chair Cummings asked Evan to mention wason the 3.9 unit apartment building in Mahtomedi and how it. contradicted many of their Ordinances. Commission Member Wippich introduced a motion recommending City Council adopt the 2Q40. Comprehensive Plan, seconded by Commission Member Pratt, All in favor, motion passes, recommendation will. be sent to City Council.
