1. If approved by the Plan Review Commission, one (1) copy of the data shall be filed with <br />the application for a building permit, one (1) copy shall be attached to the architectural <br />plans retained by the City for its records and one (1) copy shall be attached to the <br />architectural plans and made available for inspection at the construction site. <br />In the event the applicant and Plan Review Commission disagree on any portion of the <br />proposed plans which would preclude issuance of a building permit, the matter may be <br />submitted to the City Council. In this case, the City Council shall act as the Board of <br />Appeals and may order approval of the building permit application as presented, may <br />order approval of the building permit application with such amendments as it may deem <br />appropriate or may order denial of the building permit application. <br />2. Commercial Construction. <br />No building permits will be issued for the proposed construction or remodeling until the data in <br />required has been reviewed by the Zoning Administrator and submitted for review by the <br />Planning Commission at its next regular meeting. The Planning Commission with assistance as <br />requested by the Plan Review Commission, City Engineer, Building Official or other such <br />professionals as it may deem necessary shall review the submittal and forward recommendations <br />to the City Council for approval of the building permit application, approval of the building <br />permit application with such amendments as may be appropriate or denial of the building permit <br />application. <br />1. In the event the applicant and City Council disagree on any portion of the proposed <br />plans, the matter may be resubmitted with amendments to the Planning Commission for <br />reconsideration and the Planning Commission shall review the resubmittal and forward <br />recommendations to the City Council for approval of the building permit application <br />with amendments as resubmitted or denial of the building permit application. <br />3. Exterior Storage. <br />1. Residential Districts. <br />1. In Residential Districts, all materials and equipment shall be stored within a building or fully screened (so <br />as not to be visible) from adjoining properties or a street, except for the following; laundry drying and <br />recreational equipment, construction and landscaping materials and equipment currently being used on the <br />premises, agricultural equipment and materials if these are used or intended for use on the premises, off- <br />street parking of passenger automobiles and pick-up trucks, except inoperative automobiles and trucks <br />may be parked once for a period of time not to exceed fourteen (14) days. <br />2. The use of commercial storage equipment and/or semi -trailer type containers or other similar portable <br />storage units is not allowed in any residential district except when used in conjunction with an Interim Use <br />Permit, issuance of which is not subject to a public hearing, issued for a period of not more than one - <br />hundred twenty (120) days in conjunction with a properly issued Building Permit for the property. <br />Whenever possible, such containers should be restricted to a location in the side or rear yard. <br />2. Business District. <br />1. In business districts all materials, equipment and vehicles shall be stored in a building or fully screened <br />(so as not to be visible) from adjoining properties or a street except for: <br />1. Temporary storage of construction and landscaping materials currently being used on the <br />premises. <br />2.
