These ordinances are: <br />1. Ordinances 57 and 118 – Electric Franchise <br />2. Ordinances 56 and 119 – Gas Franchise <br />3. Ordinances 9 and 65 – Intoxicating Liquor <br />4. Ordinance 116 – Non-Intoxicating Liquor <br />5. Ordinances 68 and 115 – Tobacco Regulation <br />6. Ordinances 60 and 117 – Charitable Gambling <br /> <br />The following section describes each Ordinance that was updated. <br /> <br />Ordinance Updates <br />Electric Franchise <br />Ord. No. 57 is no longer active and has been removed from the City’s website. Ord. No. 118 replaced No. 57 in <br />2010 and is active until 2030. This ordinance grants Xcel Energy (and their successors) permission to operate an <br />electric distribution system. <br /> <br />Gas Franchise <br />Ord. No. 56 was no longer active and has been removed from the City’s website. Ord. No. 119 replaced No. 56 in <br />2010 and is active until 2030. This ordinance grants Xcel Energy (and their successors) permission to operate a <br />gas distribution system. <br /> <br />Intoxicating Liquor <br />Ord. No. 9 was adopted in 1963 and has been amended five times since then. The most recent amendment, Ord. <br />No. 116, has been incorporated into Ord. No. 9. The amendments can be found in red. This ordinance regulates <br />the sale and consumption of liquor and the penalties for violation. <br /> <br />Charitable Gambling <br />Ord. No. 60 was adopted in 1991. The 2010 amendment, Ord. No. 117, has been incorporated into Ord. No. 60 <br />and has been reformatted to be consistent with other city ordinances. The amendments are shown in the <br />proposed Ordinance. This ordinance regulates the operation and sale of gambling devices in on-sale liquor <br />establishments. <br /> <br />
