A temporary fence as described in 16.14.3.C) shall <br />be installed and shall. be in -place before the pool is filled. <br />F, All outdoor spas shall have either a fence or a latchable cover, as described in <br />16.14.3D). <br />G., Freestanding stone, brick, stucco, concrete, wood or other walls, not required as <br />retaining structures, are considered .fences under this section of this Ordinance. <br />H. There are no height restrictions on natural hedges or plantings utilized as fences <br />in any residentialzoning district except no plantings greater than. thirty (30") inches <br />height shall be located in the sign visibility triangle on the carrier of the lot defined <br />as within. twenty (20'.) feet of the lot corner formed by any two streets or within <br />fifteen (15') feet of any street right-of-way.. <br />Temporary snow fences can be erected for temporary site protection or for <br />diverting snow. Snow fences shall not be used as permanent fencing. Snow. fences. <br />shall not: be located in the sight visibility triangle ❑n the corner of the lot defined as <br />within twenty (20) feet of the lot corner formed by any two streets or within fifteen <br />(15') feet of any street right -of way. <br />16.13.1 Fence standards allowed by .Conditional Use Permits: <br />The following fences may be approved by Conditional Use Permit only, in accordance <br />with the standards as set forth by the City Council: <br />A. Fences allowed by Conditional Use Permit are as follows: <br />1.) All chain fink fences with a height greater than described in Section <br />15:13.1.G). <br />2) Fences, such as sales Iot securityfences, which include a security gate at <br />.a point where access is provided to the property and/or principal building. <br />3) Fences greater than six (6') feet in height around a garden, crops,. and <br />shrubs utilized for the protection of such from deer and other wildlife. <br />4) Barbed wire and electrically charged fences (All such fences must be <br />marked with caution signs on all exposures), <br />16.13.4 Nan -Conforming Fences: <br />It is the intent of this section to allow the continuation of such non -conforming fences as <br />may already exist until they are discontinued as provided herein. However, it. is. riot the <br />intent of this Section to encourage the survival of non -conforming fences and such fences <br />are declared to be incompatible with. permitted conforming fences ..and such fences are <br />declared to be incompatible with permitted fences within. the City. Such fences shall. be <br />regulated by the following provisions: <br />
