Any home occupation shall be clearly incidental and secondary to the residential use of the premises,. should not change the residential character thereof, and shall be compatible with the surrounding residential uses. • No home occupation shall require internal or external structural alterations or involve construction features not customarily found in dwellings except where required to comply with local and. state fire and policy recommendations. There shall be no exterior storage of equipment or materials used. in the home occupation, except personal vehicles: • No home: occupations shall be conducted between the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 6:30 a,m., Monday through. Friday, after .6:0.0 p.m. on Saturday or at any time on Sunday; or unless said occupation is contained entirely within the principa[ dwelling and will not. require any on -site parking facilities. ■ Sewer and water use and refuse generation shall not exceed normal residential use. • Any construction, alteration, or electrical or mechanical equipment shall not change the fire rating of the structure. ■ The maximum number of business visitors. shall not exceed eight vehicle trips per 60 minute periods or 20 vehicle trips per day. One vehicle trip shall include both arriving and. departing, • Gatherings for the purpose of selling merchandise, taking orders or providing training for sale or marketing shall not be held. more than twice per month and shall cease prior to 9:00 p.m. and shall not have more than ten passenger automobile with not more than six passenger automobiles parked on the street with all on - street parking to occur on one side of the street only. • Transferability. Permits shall not run with the land and shall not be transferable. • Lapse of Special Home Occupation Permit by Nonuse. Whenever within one (1) year after granting a permit the use as permitted by the permit shall not have bean initiated, then such permit shall become null and void unless a petition for extension of time in. which to complete the work has been granted by the City Council. Such extension shall be requested in writing: and filed with the Zoning Administrator at least thirty. (30) days before the expiration. of the original permit.. There shall be no charge for the filing of such petition. The request for extension shall scat® facts showing a good faith attempt to. initiate the. use..
