The following are definitions <br />for the City of Maplewood, White Bear Lake and White Bear Township: <br />White Bear Lake <br />Manufacturing, light— A use engineered in the manufacture, predominately from <br />previously prepared materials, of finished products or parts, including processing, <br />fabrication, assembly, treatment, packaging incidental storage, sales and <br />distribution of such products but excluding basic industrial processing. <br />Manufacturing, heavy — A use engineered in the basic processing and <br />manufacturing of materials or products predominately from extracted of raw <br />materials, or a use engaged fn storage of, or manufacturing process. using <br />flammable or explosive materials or :storage or manufacturing processes that <br />potentially involve hazardous or commonly recognized offensive conditions. <br />Maple Grove <br />No definition of industrial or manufacturing, <br />Maplewood <br />No definition of manufacturing. <br />Industrial - means the use of land or buildings to produce, manufacture, stare or <br />transfer goods, products, commodities or other items. <br />White Bear Township <br />Light Manufacturing - The. processing and fabrication of certain material& and. <br />products where no process involved will produce noise, vibrations, air pollution, fire <br />hazard, or noxious emissions which will disturb or endanger neighboring properties. <br />Light manufacturing includes,. but is not limited to, the production of the following; <br />home appliances, electrical instruments, ❑ffice machines, precision instruments, <br />electronic devices, timepieces, jewelry, optical goods, musical instruments; novelties, <br />t <br />
