We <br />are hoping to open the doors.to our urban farm this year; located at our residence. Recently, we have <br />been info.rmed.that we trust request arid. be.approved. for a variance per a fencing ordinance,. After <br />obtaining the. forms, we were informed about the $500 application fee as well as the $1000 for escrow. <br />am writing to you today iri hopes that we can get these fees reduced in price, <br />The current ordinance allows for a 6-foot fence and the fence we are attempting to build, is an <br />8-foot woven wire fence that will be used as a protection of our crops from deer and other various <br />.wildlife. The labor will be done by myself. The total cost paid for the fence was about $500. As a single- <br />income family; a fee reduction would be so greatly appreciated.
